C-Pen 20 integration methods make C-Pen a unique and valuable product with extended capabilities. Integration allows C-Pen features to be worked into any existing data processing software. This page lists available C-Pen integration methods with a short description of each.

By default C-Pen sends scanned data to a cursor position within any Windows application that accepts input focus. Default integration does not require any additional installation or programming and comes with C-Pen 20 software installation. Read C-Pen Manual for additional details.

C-Pen mouse pad is an optional C-Pen accessory which allows for C-Pen to work as a mouse, offering additional advantage in navigation. C-Pen mouse pad also hosts programmable active buttons. Once C-Pen presses an active button, pre-assigned command created by user is executed. Commands can range from a simple ‘forward’, ‘back’ or ‘save’ to more complex macros. | Advanced Application Integration |

Advanced application integrations are developed by C-Pen USA and third party providers to imbed C-Pen selective scanning features into some of the well known business applications such as QuickBooks. These integrations automate document entry process. As you scan paper documents supported by your application with C-Pen, the data is imported directly into your application field by field. Scanned data is validated for accuracy and repetitive data processing tasks within your application are reduced into few clicks of C-Pen. Advanced Application Integrations are available on commercial basis.

C-Pen software exposes COM interfaces available for developers. Accessible from any programming language they give low level access to C-Pen device, allowing custom integrations of any difficulty level.
